Russia’s attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, the Russian army carried out 10 missile strikes, 54 aviation attacks, and conducted 31 rocket artillery barrages on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex, with 26 combat clashes taking place.

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has remained relatively unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army launched an aviation strike in the vicinity of Hraniv in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 25 populated areas, including Hremiach in the Chernihiv region, Velyka Pysarivka, Pokrovka, Ponomarenky, Chernatske in the Sumy region, as well as Veterynarne, Hatysche, and Varvariivka in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the area of Synkivka, Kotliarivka, and Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Kolodyzne, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Lyman direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks near Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk region. The Russian army carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected over 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Khromove and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 15 populated areas, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bila Hora, Bohdanivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. In turn, as a result of the assault actions, the Ukrainian army achieved partial success to the south of Bakhmut, pushing Russian troops out of occupied positions and consolidating on the achieved frontlines.
- In the Avdiivka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks in the area of Avdiivka. The Russian army carried out an aviation strike near Avdiivka. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 15 populated areas, including Oleksandrivka, Keramik, Nevelske, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the Russian soldiers’ advance in the area of Marinka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the area of Krasnohorivka. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the area of Urozhaine. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 populated areas, including Olhivske, Levadne, Huliaypole, and Chervone in the Zaporizhzhia region.
- In the Kherson direction, the Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the area of Olhivka. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Kherson and Antonivka in the Kherson region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, destroying the Russian army and gradually liberating the occupied territories.
Over the course of the day, the Air Forces of Ukraine conducted 12 strikes on areas where Russian personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated, as well as on positions of Russian anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Units of the missile troops and artillery have successfully targeted 1 ammunition depot, 3 artillery pieces, 2 command posts, 1 anti-aircraft missile complex, and 2 areas where Russian personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated.
