Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, the Russian army conducted 10 airstrikes and carried out 19 shelling attacks using rocket artillery on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

The probability of missile and aerial strikes across the territory of Ukraine remains high.

Within the day, there were 21 military clashes.

  • In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes detected in the formation of offensive groupings.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Halahanivka and Leonivka in Chernihiv Oblast, as well as Iskryskivshchyna, and Volfonye in Sumy Oblast. It also carried out artillery and mortar shelling on more than 15 populated areas, including Ivashky, Hur’iiv Kozachok, Udy, Strilecha, Zelene, and Okhrimivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army launched an aviation strike in the vicinity of Druzhelubivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling from Russian troops affected Kolodyazne, Dvorychna, Zapadne, Synkivka, and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian soldiers carried out an aviation strike in the area of Hryhorivka in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected the settlements of Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, over 15 populated areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, and Bila Hora in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an aviation strike in the area of Avdiivka. Artillery shelling affected more than 10 populated areas, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces continue to hold back the advancement of Russian troops in the area of Marinka. Russian troops conducted shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Pobeda, and Georgiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled the populated areas of Odradne, Blahodatne, Makarivka, Zelene Pole, and Novodarivka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian troops. More than 25 populated areas were affected by artillery shelling, including Chervone, Huliaypole, Charivne, Novoandriivka, and Stepove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Kozatske, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, and Sadove in Kherson Oblast. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions on achieved front lines, delivering artillery strikes on identified Russian targets, and conducting counter-battery measures.

Against the backdrop of successful military operations by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and significant losses suffered by Russian troops in personnel, the number of refusals to participate in combat actions has increased among the units of the Russian occupation forces. In the area near the settlement of Rozivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, approximately 60 Russian servicemen from the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 7th Airborne Assault Division of the Russian Armed Forces refused to carry out combat tasks in the vicinity of the village of Staromaiorske in Donetsk Oblast. As a result, Russian soldiers partially disabled their own motor and armored vehicles.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

During the day, the Ukrainian aviation conducted 3 strikes on areas of concentration of Russian personnel, while the missile and artillery units during the day hit 8 artillery positions, 2 radio-electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, and Russian fuel and lubricants depot.
