Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, the Russian army carried out 3 missile and 28 aviation strikes, as well as more than 10 shelling attacks from rocket artillery systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population, and residential buildings were damaged.

The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

Within the past 24 hours, there have been 25 military clashes.

  • In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains a military presence. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements, including Semenivka and Yasna Poliana in Chernihiv Oblast; Vilna Sloboda, Stepne, Basivka, Mohrytsia, Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast; and Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hlyboke, and Kolodyazne in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions south of Novoselivka in Luhansk Oblast. Dvorichna, Zapadne, Tabaiivka, and Topoli in Kharkiv Oblast experienced Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
  • In the Lyman direction, the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area south of Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast. Settlements such as Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast were subjected to artillery shelling.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled Russian attacks in areas north of Khromove, east of Druzhba, and north of Klishchiivka. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the Klishchiivka area of Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops in the vicinity of Avdiivka, despite intense fire from Russian aviation and artillery. At the same time, the Russian army carried out artillery shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, and Severne in Donetsk Oblast.
  • In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the Russian troops’ advancement in the area of Marinka. The Russian army conducted an aviation strike near Krasnohorivka. Settlements such as Kurakhivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, and Pobeda in Donetsk Oblast experienced artillery shelling.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the Staromykhailivka area of Donetsk Oblast. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the Blahodatne area of Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne in Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by Russian soldiers.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army concentrated its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian troops. Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Pyatyhatky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Antonivka in Kherson Oblast. Over 30 settlements, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Stepove, Lobkove, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Dudchany, Beryslav, Koza, Molodizhne, Antonivka, and Kizomys in Kherson Oblast, and Ivanivka in Mykolaiv Oblast, were affected by Russian artillery shelling. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, holding their positions and inflicting fire damage on the Russian army.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 11 strikes on areas where Russian personnel, equipment, and military vehicles were concentrated, and 2 strikes on their anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile forces and artillery units hit 9 Russian artillery systems at their firing positions and targeted 2 command posts of Russian troops within the day.
