Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, the Russian army carried out 8 missile strikes and 30 airstrikes, conducting 19 artillery shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian military and civilian areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damages.

The likelihood of missile and airstrike attacks across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Throughout the day, there were 26 military clashes.

  • In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Popivka and Slavhorod in the Sumy region. It also carried out mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including locations such as Karpovychi and Kamin in the Chernihiv region, Wolfyno, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Popivka, Stukalivka in the Sumy region, and Mala Vovcha, Okhrymivka, Veterynarne in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army carried out an airstrike in the area of Ivanivka and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling affected the populated areas of Kyslivka, Kolodyazne, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted airstrikes in the areas of Tverdokhlibove and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne in the Donetsk region. Russian artillery shelling targeted more than 10 populated areas, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamianske, Torske, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army carried out an airstrike in the New York area of the Donetsk region. Over 15 populated areas, including Pryvillia, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Russian soldiers conducted an airstrike in the Avdiivka area. They also shelled Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Siverske in the Donetsk region using artillery and mortars.
  • In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to resist the advance of Russian troops in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. The Russian army carried out an airstrike in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vodyane, Novosilka, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. Russian artillery shelling affected towns like Vuhledar, Vodyane, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops carried out airstrikes in the areas of Robotyne and Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Enemy artillery shelling impacted more than 20 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Poltavka, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
  • In the Kherson direction, the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Mykolaivka and Olhivka in the Kherson region. Russian artillery shelling affected Kherson, Sadove in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation In the Melitopol direction, consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines and conducting counter-battery actions.

During the day, the Armed Force’s aviation carried out 8 strikes on personnel concentration areas, 1 strike on a command point, and 3 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the missile forces and artillery hit 2 command points, 1 air defense asset, and 1 artillery piece in Russian firing positions throughout the day.
