“Creatures [Russian troops – ed.] responded to Ukrainian Armed Forces with a rocket attack on a five-story residential building. 2 dead, 2 wounded,” wrote the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Later, Vitaliy Kim noted that, unfortunately, 6 civilians have already died as a result of the Russian rocket attack on a five-story building in Mykolaiv.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commented on the tragic event.

“Mykolaiv. The terrorist state’s cynical response to our successes at the front. A strike at a five-storey residential building. Destroyed from the 5th to the 1st floor. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Russia does not give up its despicable tactics. And we will not give up our struggle. The occupiers will be held to account for every crime against Ukraine and Ukrainians,” said the Ukrainian President.
