Lithuania provided Ukraine with L-70 anti-aircraft guns and ammunition: video

The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania noted on February 7, 2023, on Facebook, that Lithuania has provided Ukraine with dozens of L-70 anti-aircraft guns with ammunition and trained Ukrainian instructors on how to operate these weapons.

“The latest [in terms of time – ed.] Lithuanian military support for Ukraine is dozens of L-70 anti-aircraft guns with ammunition. For the last two weeks, Ukrainian instructors in Lithuania have been participating in training on how to operate these guns. We will train even more Ukrainian operators when they return to the country,” noted the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

It is also noted that Lithuania plans to train about 1,600 Ukrainian soldiers this year. This will help Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

“Lithuania will continue to support Ukraine by all possible means for as long as necessary,” the country’s Defense Ministry emphasizes.

Uaposition memo: L-70 is an automatic anti-aircraft gun developed in Sweden by the Bofors concern. It can destroy planes, helicopters, remotely controlled aircraft at a distance of up to 5 kilometers under any weather conditions.
