The Canadian Armed Forces showed on Twitter, on March 17, 2023, how Leopard 2 tanks are being prepared for shipment to Ukraine.

“Another batch of Leopard 2s is on its way to Europe as part of the Government of Canada’s commitment to help Ukraine defend itself from Russia’s illegal invasion,” tweeted the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces of Canada added that they “continue to support Ukrainian friends who are fighting to protect their homeland.”
Canada has promised to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, four of which were previously delivered to Poland, where Ukrainian tankers are trained on them. In early February, Canada sent its first Leopard 2 tank to Ukraine.
In addition, on March 13, 2023, it became known that the training of 55 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the management and maintenance of German Leopard 2 tanks was completed in Spain.
