Ukrainian military destroyed 5 Russian ammunition depots and hit ferry crossings

On September 2, 2022, it became known, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed five Russian ammunition warehouses in the south, and damaged Russian drone control center and ferry crossings.

Enemy forces decreased by 102 Russians, 6 tanks, howitzer “Msta-B”, multiple launch rocket system “Grad”, mobile 120-mm mortar, and 8 units of armored vehicles.

It is noted that three times during the day, Russian fighters and attack aircraft struck our positions in the Beryslavskyy district, without casualties. Instead, one of the attack aircraft was damaged. The results are being investigated.

Air defense also destroyed an air-launched missile from a Su-35 fighter jet that Russians fired in the Mykolaiv region.

In total, our aviation made 18 strikes on command and support posts, warehouses with ammunition, fuel and lubricants, and logistics and transport facilities.

“Ukrainian missile and artillery units worked out a number of fire missions at 9 control points, 2 ferry crossings, 2 control points for drones, at anti-aircraft defense means, and at enemy gatherings.”
