Ukraine uses the “thousand cuts” tactics in battles and cannot use the “classic Soviet type of war”.

“A counteroffensive in the Ukrainian sense is a slightly different type of war. Russians wage a classic Soviet type of war when they gathered a few thousand and went to take half a kilometer of territory. We understand that waging this type of war on the Ukrainian side is nonsense. We are actively engaging HIMARS and MLRS systems to disrupt rear support. The number of rocket-guided missiles is increasing.”

Podolyak specified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine “are intensively destroying the warehouse infrastructure – Russian ammunition depots of level 1, 2 and 3, fuel bases, operational-tactical headquarters. Thus, we are bleeding Russian military groups and slowly pushing them out of our territory.”

At the same time, he noted that the activity of the Ukrainian army is evident on the entire front.

“We do the “thousand cuts” tactic. They must move their reserves in panic along the entire front line. Let them think where Ukraine will attack today.”
