Ukrainian aviation shot down 4 out of 4 Shahed drones launched by Russia

The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat informed on March 1, 2023, that the Air Command Center destroyed four of the four Iranian-made Shahed drones launched by Russian troops at night.

“4 out of 4 Shahed drones were destroyed by the forces and means of the Center Air Command,” said the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yuriy Ihnat specified that the launch of Russian drones was carried out from the north of Ukraine.

“We have a 100 percent result,” the spokesman emphasized.

In addition, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration said that thanks to the work of air defense, at least five Russian drones were shot down in the Poltava region (central Ukraine) at night.

“It is known that up to 5 Russian UAVs were shot down. The information is being clarified,” said Dmytro Lunin.
