Ukrainian army destroyed 4 Russian tanks and hit Russia’s air defense systems in the south

Ukrainian servicemen continue to control the situation in the south of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed dozens of Russian soldiers on November 8, 2022.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 11 strikes on air defense systems and areas of concentration of Russian forces and equipment. At the same time, rocket and artillery units of Ukraine performed 290 fire missions.

As a result of the active actions of the Ukrainian military, Russia lost:

  • 55 soldiers;
  • four tanks;
  • anti-aircraft missile complex “Tor-M2”;
  • “Akatsiya” self-propelled howitzer;
  • two mortars;
  • nine units of armored vehicles.

“Two Russian ammunition depots near Snihurivka and Kostromka were destroyed. Other losses of the enemy are being investigated,” noted the Operational Command “South”.

Russian troops shelled Ukrainian settlements adjacent to the demarcation line, in particular in the liberated areas. They used artillery, mortars, MLRS, etc. to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities.

In addition, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions with army aircraft 4 times. In response, the Russians received 11 hits on air defense systems and areas of concentration of their forces and equipment.
