Ukraine’s explosives cleared 14,000 hectares of Ukrainian land from Russian shells and mines

The Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko noted on November 8, 2022, that thanks to the work of police explosives technicians, 14,000 hectares of Ukrainian land have already been cleared of Russian shells and mines.

“Demining of territories is a long and painstaking process. But vital. And this work is not for everyone. Demining is carried out by special specialists – explosive technicians. These are people with steel nerves and iron endurance. And thanks to their skills, each of them saved more lives than any superhero. Unfortunately, sometimes at the cost of one’s own life and health,” said Ihor Klymenko.

The Head of the National Police of Ukraine also announced that thanks to the brave work of police explosives of Ukraine, 141 thousand of explosive items were found and seized.

“141,000 explosive items of various types were seized. More than 45 thousand Russian carriers of death were destroyed. These people are our heroes. Specialists with unique knowledge. We appreciate everyone and are grateful for their work!” Concluded Ihor Klymenko.
