The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat reported on March 6, 2023, that at night, the Air Force destroyed 13 of the 15 Shahed kamikaze drones launched by Russian troops over Ukraine.

According to Yuriy Ihnat, Russian soldiers attacked the central and eastern regions of Ukraine with drones from the north.
“Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones were launched from the northern direction. Previously, 15 UAVs were launched, 13 of them were destroyed by air defense of Ukraine using various fire means,” explained the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 4 drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“At night, the Russian army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with four drones. However, Ukrainian heroic soldiers from the Southern Command “East” destroyed them. Probably, that were Shahed drones,” said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
In addition, Ukrainian air defense forces worked in the Kyiv region.
