In the city of Orlando (Florida, USA), the international sports competition “Warrior Games” started on August 19, 2022. The national team of Ukraine is participating in them for the first time.

The Ukrainian team consists of 32 athletes. These are veterans and active military personnel who were injured.
The opening ceremony, which had to be shortened due to a downpour, took place at Walt Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
Pistol and rifle shooting competitions will take place on August 20.
The “Warrior Games”, organized by the US Army Training and Doctrine Command, will continue until August 28.
About 300 athletes representing the armies of the United States and allied countries came to participate in them.
