UK Minister of Transport sheltered the family of Ukrainian refugees at his home

UK Minister’s of Transport house is home to a three-generation Ukrainian family.

“Today we’re delighted to welcome a three-generation Ukrainian family, along with their dog Max, to live with us in our home. Whilst their country goes through the turmoil of Putin’s war, our country stands resolutely with the people of Ukraine.”

He declared his readiness to provide asylum to Ukrainians forced to flee the war on March 14.

According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, as of April 16, almost 4.9 million people left Ukraine due to the Russian attack. More than half of them – 2.8 million – were accepted by Poland.
