The Head of the Bundestag’s Defense Committee again criticized Chancellor Olaf Scholz and asked him to commit to supplying heavy weapons to Ukraine.

“The chancellor still doesn’t say what he wants, and I am very sorry about that. I think we just don’t have time for discussions. It’s not just about Ukraine, it’s about us in Europe,” Strack-Zimmerman said.
“I am very pleased that Scholz has expressed a desire to give Ukraine more money, but you can’t win the war with money, you need weapons. And in this regard, I would like the Federal Chancellor to make it clear again that there is money and that Germany is ready to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine.”
