The Ukrainian army eliminated 79 Russians, destroyed 6 ammunition depots and equipment in the south

The Operational Command “South” stated that Ukrainian defenders eliminated 79  Russian occupiers, 6 ammunition depots, and destroyed a lot of equipment in the south of Ukraine on August 5.

It is noted that the Armed Forces on August 5 carried out 4 air strikes on the enemy’s concentration, 2 strongholds and 6 ammunition depots in the Beryslavskyy and Kherson districts. Rocket and artillery units also performed their firing tasks.

In addition, 79 Russians, four T-72 tanks, two Msta-S self-propelled howitzers and an artillery installation, a radar station and a command and staff vehicle, 10 units of armored vehicles and 11 other vehicles were destroyed.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also hit two control points of the 76th Airborne Assault Division and the 49th Army in Chornobayivka, the command and observation post of the enemy battalion tactical group in Bruskinsky, and the weapons and equipment concentration area in Oleshky.

The final losses of the Russians are specified.

The Operational Command “South” also added that currently, 9 Russian warships and boats are maneuvering near the Crimean coast in the Black Sea, the rest are hiding in bases.
