“The situation on the front line is tense and difficult, and I am not one of those who believe that the Russian army is weak. They have very large resources, and they brought them here,” said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

According to him, the Russian army is superior in artillery and heavy equipment.

Our soldiers are not intimidated by this. We hold our positions. From time to time we conduct counterattacks. But the war is still going on, and we are far from over,” Danilov said.

He also noted that the war would end only when Russian troops leave the Ukrainian territory, including Donbas and Crimea. However, he does not rule out the possibility of a temporary settlement through negotiations.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that no serious peace talks are underway today, and no one can answer the question of how long the war will last.
