“Today the Russian occupation troops committed another war crime during an attempt to evacuate seven civilians from the occupied village of Starosillia in the Kherson region. Near the village of Dovhove, the occupiers opened fire on the bus, point blank, using anti-tank guided missiles. Three [ed.] civilians were killed.

Five others – three men and two women, all civilians – were evacuated to Kryvyi Rih. Two of them are in critical condition after having suffered burn shock. All of them have been hospitalized in Kryvyi Rih and are receiving medical assistance.”

On April 14, Russian forces opened fire at evacuation buses in a village in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, killing seven civilians and injuring another 27.

Russian forces have repeatedly been accused of deliberately targeting civilians in the ongoing war against Ukraine.
