“About 40 missiles struck Mykolaiv tonight. This is one of the heaviest cases of shelling the city has seen since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. My city is the Hero City of Mykolaiv, becoming the second Mariupol. The city was first cut off from water supply, and now its infrastructure is being destroyed,” she emphasized.

Currently, damage to buildings, a hotel, educational institutions, and a service station is known. There are dead and injured among the civilian population. Among the victims of the shelling are the Hero of Ukraine and the owner of Ukraine’s largest grain trading company “Nibulon” Oleksiy Vadaturskyi and his wife.

As of August 1, there are 382 patients in Mykolaiv hospitals, who suffered from Russian attacks. Other 44 victims received outpatient care.

She added that the city is attacked not only with cruise missiles, but rockets fired from multiple-launch rocket systems.
