State Emergency Service of Ukraine defused more than 324,000 explosive items

The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted that 324,425 Russian explosive objects have been defused in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.

“In total, 324,425 explosive objects and 2,891 kg of explosive substances, including 2,185 aviation bombs, have been disposed of in the territory of Ukraine since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation in the territory of Ukraine. The territory of about 79,751 hectares was surveyed,” explained the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved 80 times – they defused 243 explosive objects, and surveyed the area of 51 hectares.

“According to rescuers, most often pyrotechnic units worked: in the Kharkiv region – 15,072 times, in Kyiv region – 7,239, Chernihiv region – 4,347, Donetsk region – 3,932, Mykolaiv region – 3,331, Kherson – 2,813, Sumy – 1,719, and Cherkasy region – 1,083,” added the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
