Militants of the Russian Wagner group planned an assassination attempt on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.

“They wanted to kill the leadership of Ukraine: our President and Prime Minister. That was the goal, some of them were sent to Ukraine without success”.
All evidence was provided to the International Court of Justice.
The adviser to the Minister of Defense noted that Ukrainian intelligence tracked down the Wagner militants in Ukraine and abroad, several of whom were eliminated inside the country.
Earlier, Adviser to the President of Ukraine said that Volodymyr Zelensky had already survived more than ten attempts on his life.
