Russians shelled the Kherson region almost 50 times, 1 civilian was killed

Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration said that Russian troops shelled the territory of the Kherson region 49 times, one civilian was killed, and two were injured on January 12, 2023.

“The Kherson region. Information on Russian shelling for the past day, January 12, 2023. According to the information of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian military shelled the territory of the Kherson region 49 times. Peaceful settlements in the region were attacked with artillery, anti-aircraft guns, mortars, tanks, and a rocket attack was also recorded,” explained Yaroslav Yanushevych.

Russian troops also shelled Kherson seven times. Russian shells hit private and apartment buildings.

“1 person was killed due to Russian shelling, and 2 residents of the Kherson region were injured of varying degrees of severity,” added the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

In addition, Volodymyr Litvinov, the head of the Beryslav (a city in the Kherson region) Regional military administration said that during the day on January 12, the territorial communities of Beryslav, Velykolexandrivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Mylove, and Tyahynka came under hostile fire from Russian troops.
