Russian troops have killed 65 civilians in Kherson since November 20, 2022

The Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Halyna Luhova noted on January 12, 2023, that since November 20, 2022, 65 civilians have been killed in Kherson due to the shelling by Russian troops.

160 people were injured, including four children.

“The Russian army continues to kill Ukrainians. During the period of heavy shelling, starting from November 20, the number of missile “arrivals” was 1,223, the number of killed – 65, among them – a child,” explained the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration.

In addition, on January 11, 2022, it became known that 1 civilian was killed and 5 more injured due to the Russian shelling of Kherson.

Russian troops also continue to destroy the city’s critical infrastructure.

According to Halyna Luhova, 38 critical infrastructure facilities, 48 educational institutions and 901 residential buildings, half of which are high-rise buildings, have been destroyed.
