Russians hit a city in the Kharkiv region with 2 rockets, injuring six civilians

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov reported that Russian troops carried out air strikes on the liberated city of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine) on February 16, 2023. As a result, six civilians were injured.

“Today, around 10:30 a.m., Russian soldiers shelled the city of Vovchansk again. According to preliminary information, the shelling was carried out by Russian aircraft. Two missile strikes were recorded. A 30-year-old man, an employee of Kharkivoblenergo (an energy supply company in the Kharkiv region), was injured as a result of the shelling. He was hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury,” informed the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The building of one of the enterprises and a private residential building were also damaged.

Later, Oleg Sinegubov added that the number of injured increased to six.

“The number of injured as a result of the air strike in the city of Vovchansk has increased to 6 people. According to updated information, 5 more men aged 35 to 65 were injured. Doctors provided them with all the necessary assistance, and they will be treated on an outpatient basis. The victims are specialists who carried out repair work on communication lines,” clarified the  Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
