Russian troops shelled 3 districts of the Kharkiv region, 1 civilian was killed and 1 injured

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov noted that on January 30, 2023, Russian troops shelled Kupyansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Dvorichna and other border settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts of the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine).

“Unfortunately, a 62-year-old civilian man was killed as a result of shelling in Vovchansk. An 83-year-old woman was injured and then hospitalized in a moderate condition. Multi-apartment residential buildings, industrial facilities, and the building of the district department of the National Police were damaged in the city,” explained the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

In addition, as a result of Russian shelling, a transport infrastructure object was destroyed and private residential buildings were damaged in Kupyansk.

“Fighting continues on the contact line. Ukrainian troops hold their positions, inflicting significant losses on the Russian army,” added the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
