Russian troops injured 914 children in Ukraine

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine noted that the Russian army killed 459 children and injured 914 children in Ukraine as of January 22, 2023.

“As of the morning of January 22, more than 1,373 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 459 children were killed and more than 914 were injured of various degrees of severity,” informed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

These data are not final. Work is ongoing to record them in places of hostilities, in temporarily captured, and liberated territories of Ukraine.

Children were most affected in the Donetsk region – 438, 270 in the Kharkiv region, 123 in the Kyiv region, 85 in the Kherson region, 84 in the Zaporizhzhia region, 83 in the Mykolaiv region, 68 in the Chernihiv region, 66 in the Luhansk region, and 63 in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
