“Russia’s strikes on Mariupol did not stop even when the UN Secretary-General was in talks in Moscow. And today, immediately after our talks in Kyiv, Russian missiles flew into the city. Five missiles. And this says a lot about Russia’s true attitude to global institutions, about the attempts of the Russian leadership to humiliate the UN and everything that the organization represents. Therefore, it requires a strong response,” the Head of state stressed.

Antonio Guterres was shocked that Russia fired missiles at Kyiv while he was in the city.

“While the UN Secretary-General is visiting Kyiv, a permanent member of the UN Security Council – russia – is launching missile strikes on the city. This is an attack on the security of the Secretary General and world security!” – said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
