The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that Russian soldiers shelled the territory of the Kherson region 77 times on January 8, 2023. Unfortunately, three civilians were injured.

“Kherson region. Information on Russian shelling for the past day, January 8, 2023. Russian troops shelled the territory of the Kherson region 77 times. Peaceful settlements in the region were attacked with artillery, rocket launchers and mortars,” clarified the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Yaroslav Yanushevych, Russian soldiers also attacked the city of Kherson.
“Kherson was shelled 21 times by Russians – they continue to attack the residential quarters of the city. Russian shells hit private and apartment buildings,” added the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
3 people were injured of varying degrees of severity.
In addition, Volodymyr Litvinov, the head of the Beryslav (a city in the Kherson region) Regional military administration, reported on January 9, 2023, that the Russian army did not stop striking the population centers of the district. During the day, the territorial communities of Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk and Mylove came under Russian fire.
