“As it was a few months ago in the context of MiG [fighter aircraft – ed.], so any other air support will be implemented and possibly transferred [to Ukraine – ed.] in agreement with NATO countries. Here we will act in full coordination,” said Mateusz Morawiecki, answering the question whether Poland is ready to hand over its F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

As the head of the Polish government noted, Warsaw coordinates all actions in the direction of strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities with NATO partners, in particular with the United States.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, commented on Poland’s decision.

“Work on obtaining F-16 fighters continues. We have positive signals from Poland, which is ready to give them to us in coordination with NATO,” explained the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
