On August 19, the United States announced a new military aid package for Ukraine in the amount of $775 million, to which Russia immediately reacted. In particular, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that it is not necessary to feel sorry for Ukrainians, alluding to the rocket attacks of Russian occupiers on residential buildings and other objects of the civil infrastructure of Ukraine.

“No mercy to the Ukrainian population!” Ulyanov wrote on Twitter, reacting to the post of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who thanked Joe Biden for his help in confronting the enemy.

Almost immediately after publication, Ulyanov deleted the provocative post, and after some time wrote a lame excuse.

“I must apologize. I forgot whom I am dealing with. Of course, I meant the US with its weapons supplies and the President of Ukraine who stated just yesterday that he rejects any peace talks. Indeed, no mercy from their side to the Ukrainian population. That is what I said.”

Adviser to the Head of the Office of President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak responded to the statement of Russian diplomat: “Russian ambassador to Austria Mykhail Ulyanov declares the need for “a final solution to the Ukrainian issue” and calls for genocide. Europe heard again: “not all Russians are like Putin” and “Nord Stream-2 should be allowed to work”. It’s time to understand: the Russian Federation is a fascist vertical of millions of people.”
