Lithuania collected €14M for air defense radars for Ukraine

On February 26, 2023, it became known that the Radarom charity campaign organized in Lithuania raised 14 million euros for air defense radars for Ukraine.

“Thank you! We collected EUR 14,000,000 during the campaign. Let’s continue to support Ukraine,” informed the Charity organization Radarom.

The fund-raising campaign lasted from January 30 to February 24, 2023, with the support of five well-known Lithuanian public organizations.

“LRT together with the organizations “Blue/Yellow”, “Laisvės TV”, “1K fondas” and “Stiprūs kartu” invited to unite and participate in the campaign Radarom from January 30 to February 24,” reported the Charity organization Radarom.

Raised funds will be used to buy multifunctional tactical radars.

“The purpose of the radars is to monitor the airspace around such strategically important objects for Ukraine as power plants, water supply units, etc., which help to ensure as normal life as possible for Ukrainians during the war,” added the Charity organization Radarom.
