“To help the population hold out, France is sending 100 high-power generators to Ukraine, while Russia wants to make winter a weapon of war. 100 French generators are on their way to Ukraine,” wrote the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France on Twitter.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France also noted that Russian strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine are war crimes.

“In response to Ukraine’s call, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is currently sending 100 generators with a power of 50 to 100KWA to Romania. These generators will be handed over to the Ukrainian authorities in the coming days. This transport, organized by the crisis and support center of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, benefits from the support of the European Union’s civil protection mechanism and is part of a dispatch operation over 500 generators by several EU countries,” clarified the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.
