Every 3rd young Ukrainian donate money to the Ukrainian army – research

According to the results of the research “Youth volunteering in Ukraine”, conducted within the framework of the USAID “Dream and Act” program as of September 22, 2022, every second young person in Ukraine has started volunteering, and every third – to donate or help on the information front, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

According to the research, volunteering in Ukraine has become more massive, motivated and organized.

Volunteers were most often involved in collecting funds and purchasing equipment and medicines for the military; constructing premises for internally displaced persons, elderly people, and low-income families; helping animals with shelters before the full-scale war. And during the war, they began to purchase equipment for the military, engaged in humanitarian aid, and weave camouflage nets.

This research was made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

It should be noted that all young people are proud of volunteering in Ukraine, its massiveness, ability to solve extremely difficult tasks and unite Ukrainians to achieve a common goal. They also realize the usefulness and importance of volunteering and are proud of their volunteer friends.
