Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko noted on December 2, 2022, that Ukrainian diplomatic institutions abroad received bloody packages with animals’ eyes inside.

“After the terrorist attack in Spain [an explosion in the Ukrainian embassy in Spain – ed.], bloody packages were sent to the embassies in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, Italy, the consulates in Naples and Krakow, and the consulate in Brno. There were animal eyes in the packages, and they were soaked in a liquid of a typical color and had a corresponding smell. We are studying the meaning of this message,” said the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The embassy in the USA received a letter with a photocopy of a critical article about Ukraine, but, like most other envelopes, this letter arrived simultaneously with others from the territory of one European country.
“We have reason to believe that a well-planned campaign of terror and intimidation of embassies and consulates of Ukraine is taking place. Unable to stop Ukraine on the diplomatic front, they are trying to intimidate us. However, I can immediately say that these attempts are futile. We will continue to work effectively for the victory of Ukraine,” emphasized the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba.
Ukraine cooperates with law enforcement officers of foreign countries to investigate all cases of threats, as well as to identify those involved and bring them to justice.
