“Together with the World Bank, we plan to carry out another verification of Ukraine’s needs for the fastest possible recovery. Let me remind you that we have such a fixation at the beginning of June. At that time, the figure was $350 billion in damages. Taking into account the latest attacks on our infrastructure, today this amount is more than $700 billion,” noted Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine also stated that all sectors of Ukraine’s economy were suffering because of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Denys Shmyhal added that 35.5 billion UAH in the state budget have been allocated for the Fund for liquidation of the consequences of the Russian armed aggression. This is the construction and repair of public buildings, critical infrastructure facilities, and housing for internally displaced persons.
