Basic combined military training of Ukrainian servicemen continues on the territory of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The operation launched by the British government was called NTERFLEX.

About 5,000 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already been trained in Great Britain as of September 14, 2022.
“Nearly 5 000 Ukrainian servicemen have completed training with instructors from Canada, New Zealand, Ukraine and Great Britain. They have received basic skills in tactical medicine, engineering, fire, psychological and tactical training and can conduct offensive and defensive missions in urbanized areas.”
The General Staff stated that the operation “INTERFLEX” was one of the most vivid examples of international support for Ukraine and a strong evidence that Ukraine is not fighting alone against Russian aggression.
It is also planned to expand “INTERFLEX”, in particular, to create a course to train junior commanders of military units, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
