Danish Defence Ministry said on August 11, 2022, that 26 countries took part in the conference of Northern European allies in support of Ukraine in Denmark, Copenhagen. Their representatives managed to collect about €1.5 billion for military aid to the Ukrainian army.

“1.5 billion EUR announced at the Copenhagen conference for Ukraine today. 26 countries have agreed to support the continued military assistance to Ukraine. Their fight is our fight.”
The meeting was attended by ministers of defence and representatives of Ukraine, Great Britain, Denmark and other countries.
“They condemned Russia’s brutality and indiscriminate killing of Ukrainian civilians in the strongest way possible and expressed their full support to Ukraine. They agreed on the importance of continued and sustained military assistance to Ukraine in its fight for security and freedom,” the joint statement said.
UK Ministry of Defence added that this funding would ensure financial support for the vital military kit & training, helping Ukraine defend against Putin’s invasion.
