“We must all continue to provide and increase support to Ukraine with weapons, training, demining, and financially. And I hope that we can agree on even more contributions here today, and of course, Denmark is ready to do its part. Today we can announce a new contribution of 110 million euros for weapons, equipment and training,” Frederiksen noted.

The new measures will take Denmark’s total aid to Ukraine since the start of the war to more than 3 billion Danish crowns ($417 million).

Just over half of the financial aid announced today will be spent on weapons procurement and support of weapons production. The rest will be spent on supplies of Danish weapons and military equipment, as well as military training.

“This is a war on the values that Europe and the free world are built upon. Today we reaffirm our commitment to support Ukraine,” she concluded.
