Conflict in Eastern Ukraine to be top focus at Munich Security Conference

On February 6, world leaders, security experts, and defense chiefs will gather for the 51st Munich Security Conference (MSC) . More then 400 politicians and experts will try to find out the ways to stop the conflict in East Ukraine.

The main goal is to find a diplomatic settlement ways of solving the conflict. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will come to the conference after the meetings with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

During the Munich Security Conference is also expected a special report on current situation in Ukraine from the US experts from the NATO’s Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) delegation.

“Following their visit to Ukraine, US experts delegation will prepare a special report, which, in particular, will be presented during the Munich Security Conference that will be held on February 6-8 this year,” Ukrainian President’s portal reported
