November 2 – Within 72 hours, Russia has held operational training and tested three types of nuclear weapons available in the army of Russian Federation.

November 2 – Russian Federation plans to use so-called elections in People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk (held on November 2nd in the areas, occupied by the insurgents) in order to reinforce its Armed Forces with more military personnel, – stated the Advisor to the Chief of Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Markyian Lubkivskyi.

November 2 – SSU has started criminal proceedings regarding so-called elections to the illegal authorities of People’s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. Security Service of Ukraine and Interior Ministry of Ukraine qualify what is happening on November 2nd at temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts as a large-scale crime against citizens of Ukraine people; both agencies have documented incidents of mass terror, intimidation, blackmail, bribery, forced labor and kidnapping – SSU’s statement on Donbas “elections”.

November 2 – Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Ministry expresses decisive protest against unlawful actions by the Russian Federation, gross violation of state border of Ukraine, demands to stop provocative actions and comply with “generally accepted norms and principles of international law and international relations” – statement of Ukraine’s MFA regarding another so-called “humanitarian convoy” crossing state border of Ukraine.

November 2 – in the last fortnight, fighters have 28 times shot at our block posts, defensive and observing points. Ten soldiers have died and seven are wounded.

November 2 – Terrorists and representatives of “DNR” are robbing banks in Donetsk and Luhansk and are taking money from local residents. In their turn, Chechyntsi have organized extortions on the block posts and duriong every fortnight in Shakhtarsk and Torezi, they take away from peaceful residents millions of hryvni.

November 2 – The Eurpean Union does not acknowledge the “elections” of heads and deputies to Parliament in the self-proclaimed DNR and LNR. This was stated by the Head of the EU Committee on Foreign Issues, Elmar Brok.

November 2 – “Governor” of Sevastopil, Serhiy Meniaylo, stated the need to conserve water; a critical situation has developed in providing water which now is delivered to residents according to schedule. Most of the water for Crimea should be coming from Ukraine. However, the occuppiers refuse to pay for it.
