By annexing Crimea, Russia has carried out an act of aggression against Ukraine. Currently Russia is transferring terrorist and sabotage groups to Eastern Ukraine. Russia aims to prevent legitimate presidential elections from happening. Everyday life in Eastern Ukraine has turned into a continuous nightmare in the middle of Europe. Our country is being destroyed right before our eyes. We therefore take the courage to inform you about current events in Ukraine. This is just another point of view. We will do our best to remain objective.

June 23 – Ukrainian female pilot Nadiya Savchenko was ambushed and captured together with other soldiers near the city of Shchastya. ATO leaders would like to exchange Ukrainian pilot for terrorists, informed the Head of the Press Department at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Bohdan Sennyk.

June 23 – Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitу said that Russia is offering Baltic countries a discount on gas prices in exchange for their withdrawal from NATO. At the same time, Lithuanian President has identified Putin’s tactics as similar to those employed by Soviet dictator Stalin and Nazi leader Hitler.

June 23 – There is no doubt about the origin of heavy weapons used by the terrorists in Donbas as they are impossible to “buy retail”, said Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in his interview with The Sunday Times.

June 23 – The leaders of the United States, France and Germany have agreed upon new sanctions against Russia in case of an escalation of tensions in southeastern Ukraine as said in a statement by the White House on Saturday. The European Union is expecting Russia to fully support the peace plan proposed by Petro Poroshenko or the sanctions will be applied, stated Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom William Hague.

June 23 – Insurgents in Eastern Ukraine are violating the truce and are getting ready to transfer reinforcements (people and weapons) from the camps in Russia, informs the spokesman for the Information Center at National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Volodymyr Chepovoy. “Russian mercenaries plan to break into Ukraine from Russian military training camps in the nearest future”, said Chepovoy.

June 23 – European Council has completed a technical preparatory stage needed in order to sign an EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

June 23 – If the peace plan proposed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is not implemented, plan “B” will have to be applied (eradication of terrorists), said the Advisor to the President Yuriy Lutsenko.
