Military updates, 1/09 (31st “Day of Silence”) #FreeSavchenko

In Donetsk, three “warehouse-distribution points” have been created as part of a single supply system of Russian-terrorist forces. Units of local insurgents and Russian mercenaries are supplied with ammunition, spare parts for armored vehicles, and fuel at [these points]. Issuance of material resources is carried out exclusively to the formations that are subordinated to the single command.

The district of StarobesheveKomsomolskeNovokaterynivka is used as the base area for the formation of Russian-terrorist forces operating from Telmanove to Dokuchajevsk and Olenivka. The presence of control centers and terminal supply stations has been observed in the area. Also, the resupply, rearmament, and restoration of combat capabilities of insurgent units and Russian mercenaries is carried out in this area.

The movement of another supply convoy (up to 15 trucks with 4 units of armored escorts) has been observed passing through the settlement of Krasnyi Luch in the direction of the AlchevskPerevalsk stretch.

North of Stakhanov, the enemy vigorously distributes military equipment, trying to hide its accumulation. At least three new artillery firing positions of Russian-terrorist forces have been reported.

In the settlements of Makiivka, Alchevsk, and Krasnyi Luch, accelerated training courses have been organized by “experts” for a number of local insurgent units. In particular, artillery spotters and scouts are trained. Russian servicemen are the instructors [of these courses].

At the insistence of Russian specialists, “service and repair [stations]” of weapons and military equipment that are used for an [extended] period of time have been organized directly at their places of destination in a number of gang formations. Corresponding “maintenance & repair crews” have been organized. The supply of spare parts and consumables takes place under the guise of “humanitarian convoys” [coming] from Russia. In the settlements of Snizhne, Makiivka, Krasny Luch, and Perevalsk, advanced supply and repair bases have been set up, predominantly at the facilities of local industrial plants and specialized repair locations.

The enemy is moving mortars and cannon artillery (up to 2 combined batteries) towards Shchastya and Stanytsia Luhanska. The tanks that arrived in the area earlier (about 12 units, of which at least 2 are currently unfit for action) have been withdrawn deep into insurgent positions for service. Meanwhile, a single point of artillery fire control in the sector is currently being set up nearby the village of Metallist.
