Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, the Russian army carried out 4 missile and 30 aviation strikes, conducting 32 artillery shellings on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Within the day, 31 clashes took place.

  • In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including Huta-Studenetska, Karpovychi in the Chernihiv region, Vintorivka, Romashkove, Shalyhyne, Simeykyne, Volfyne, Volodymyrivka in the Sumy region, and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Ternova, Karaichne, Khrypuni, Kolodyazne in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Novoselivske in the Luhansk region. It carried out an aviation strike in the vicinity of Krokhmalne in the Kharkiv region. Over 10 populated areas, including Stroivka, Novomlynske, Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, Pishchane, and Druzheliubivka in the Kharkiv region, were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian troops delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Novoehorivka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Myrne, Torske, Sviato-Pokrovske, Ivano-Darivka, Nikiforivka, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Kurdiumivka area of the Donetsk region. It carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Stupochky, Bila Hora, and New York in the Donetsk region. Over 15 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Bila Hora, Dachne, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Severne, Donetsk region. They continued to inflict artillery and mortar shelling on populated areas such as Keramik, Stepove, Siverske, Nevelske, and Memryk in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Marinka direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. Populated areas including Oleksandriivka, Hostre, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region experienced artillery shelling.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region. They carried out an aviation strike in the area of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas, including Vodyane, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Urozhaine, Vilne Pole, and Novopil in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Malynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 15 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Chervone, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Mali Shcherbaky in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Kherson direction, Russian military shelled over 10 populated areas with artillery, including Zolota Balka, Mylove, Kozatske, Burhunka, Tokarivka, and Yantarne in the Kherson region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines, and carrying out counter-battery measures.

During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 6 strikes on the areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment, as well as 4 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Rocket forces and artillery units during the day targeted and hit 10 artillery systems in firing positions, 1 ammunition depot, and 1 Russian radar station.
