Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure
During the day, the Russian Federation launched two massive missile and air strikes on the territory of Ukraine. During the night, the Russian army used air-launched cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 and Iranian strike UAVs Shahed-136/131. According to updated information, 36 out of 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 30 out of 38 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were destroyed with the forces and means of the Air Command of Ukraine, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. During the day, the Russian army also used cruise and ballistic missiles of the Iskander operational-tactical missile complex against civilian and critical infrastructure objects in the city of Kyiv. 11 out of 11 missiles were destroyed by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
Overall, during this day, Russian military conducted 53 aviation strikes and made approximately 20 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties, private residential houses have been damaged, as well as other civilian and administrative infrastructure.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, Ukrainian troops repelled 20 Russian attacks.

Operational situation on Ukrainian directions
- The operational situation remains stable on the Volyn and Polissya directions, and there are no signs of Russian offensive groupings.
- On the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army continues to maintain military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. During the day, it conducted an airstrike in the Milove area of Kharkiv region. Russian troops also carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas such as Seredyna-Buda, Pavlivka, Katerinivka, Shevchenkove, Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Strilecha, Hlybokе, Morokhovets, Ternova, Izbicke, Starytsia, Hatysche, Vovchansk, Pletenivka, Tykhe, Vovchanski Khutory, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Masutivka area of the Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling targeted Kolodyazne, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masutivka, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Kyslivka, Hlushkivka, Berestove, Bohuslavka in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Lyman direction, Russian soldiers did not conduct any offensive actions during the day. They delivered airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Sperne in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Sperne in the Donetsk region.
- On the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive actions during the day. They carried out an airstrike in the area of Toretsk in the Donetsk region. Vasiukivka, Kramatorsk, Tykhonivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Zalizne, and New York in the Donetsk region were affected by Russian shelling.
- On the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army did not conduct any offensive actions. It delivered airstrikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Vodyane in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling targeted populated areas such as Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
- On the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 12 Russian attacks in the area of Marinka. The Russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Hrohoriivka. At the same time, Maiinka and Hrohoriivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to Russian shelling.
- On the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian military carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Prechystivka. They conducted shelling of populated areas such as Paraskevivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, and Shakhtarske.
- On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army continues defensive actions. It delivered airstrikes in the areas of Huliaypole and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian soldiers also conducted shelling of populated areas such as Vremivka, Zelene Pole, Novopil in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Huliaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, and Stepnohrisk in the Zaporizhzhia region; Kachkarivka, Mylove, Kozatske, Burhunka, Lvove, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Dniprovke, and Kizomys in the Kherson region, as well as the city of Kherson.
Plundering of civilians
Russian troops continue to plunder the civilian population. In the temporarily occupied city of Svatove in the Luhansk region, they are confiscating combines, trucks, and other valuable machinery from farms whose owners are unable to provide certain ownership documents due to their departure.
Ukrainian aviation and artillery response
During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 15 strikes on Russian personnel and military equipment concentration areas.
Units of missile troops and artillery targeted three areas of armament and military equipment concentration, ammunition depots, three air defense systems, and three other important Russian targets.
