Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure
The Russian army cynically continues to employ tactics of terror. Within a 24-hour period, Russian troops carried out 18 missile strikes on populated areas in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, using 10 air-launched cruise missiles Kh-101/Kh-555 (destroyed by Ukrainian soldiers). Additionally, twice a day, they launched 8 guided anti-aircraft missiles S-300/S-400 at the city of Dnipro. Furthermore, the Russian army conducted 60 airstrikes, including the deployment of Iranian combat drones of the Shahed type on the cities of Merefa and Izyum in the Kharkiv region, as well as the use of guided aviation bombs on the city of Avdiivka and the town of New York (Donetsk region). Moreover, Russian military carried out approximately 34 artillery shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas using multiple rocket launcher systems. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and damage has been inflicted on a medical facility in the city of Dnipro, educational institutions in Izyum and New York, as well as residential apartment buildings and private houses.
The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine is very high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lymanske, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions. In total, there have been 18 clashes in the mentioned frontline areas.

Operational situation on Ukrainian directions
- On the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
- On the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted an aerial strike in the Zemlyanky area of the Kharkiv region, as well as mortar and artillery shelling on the settlements of Senkivka, Sosnivka, Zaliznyi Most in the Chernihiv region; Svarkove, Stari Vyriky, Pavlivka, Volfyne, Basivka, Zapsillia, Myropillia, Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region, and also Odnorobivka, Kozacha Lopan, Strylecha, Hlybokе, Neskuchne, Zelene, Ternova, Staritsya, Hatysche, Vovchansk, Karaiche, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, and Vilkhuvatka in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army continues its attempts to improve its tactical position. Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Masutivka area. Aviation strikes were carried out near Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, and Raigorodka in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the Russian army affected Kolodyazne, Dvorichna, Masutivka, Kyslivka, Kamyanka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk.
- On the Lyman direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Bilohorivka area. It also carried out an aviation strike in that area. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamianske and Spirne in the Donetsk region.
- On the Bakhmut direction, Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Predtechyne. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Hryhorivka and Bila Hora. The shelling also affected Vasyukivka, Pryvillia, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Kostiantynivka, Bila Hora, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region.
- On the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army did not conduct any offensive actions during the day. It carried out aviation strikes on Avdiivka and Pervomaiske and conducted artillery shelling on the settlements of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
- On the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled numerous Russian attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. At the same time, Georgiivka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region came under Russian shelling.
- On the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian soldiers conducted an airstrike in the Vuhledar area and carried out shelling on the settlements of Paraskeviivka, Vuhledar, and Prechystivka.
- On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army continues defensive actions. It conducted an aviation strike near Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian troops also shelled the settlements of Vremivka, Novosilka in the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Vesele, Kozatske, Lvove, Antonivka, Kizomys, Stanislav in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.
Counter-sabotage measures
Several dozen Russian servicemen have arrived in the temporarily occupied Novopetrivka in the Donetsk region to conduct so-called “counter-sabotage measures.” They conduct searches in private houses, confiscate mobile devices, and illegally seize vehicles belonging to residents. In essence, they are simply looting the citizens.
Ukrainian aviation strikes and destruction of Russian equipment
The Defense Forces’ aviation conducted 8 strikes on Russian personnel and military equipment concentration areas during the day.
The missile and artillery units hit 3 command posts, 2 armament and military equipment concentration areas, 1 ammunition depot, 2 artillery units in firing positions, 1 air defense system, and another important Russian target.
