Russian soldiers’ attacks on the Ukrainian civilian infrastructure

The Russian Federation launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine yet again. During the attack were used 35x cruise missiles. However, all of them were intercepted in mid-air by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Russian soldiers launched 4x missile and 64x air strikes, 64x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the attacks caused civilian casualties in addition to the destroyed infrastructure.

The possibility of Russian missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.

The Russian army continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. Recently, there were more than 40x combat engagements.

  • Volyn, and Polissya direction: no significant changes or signs of the formation of offensive groups were found. The Republic of Belarus continues to support the Russian armed aggression – training of Russian soldiers continues at Belarusian training grounds.
  • Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions: the Russian army continues to maintain military presence in the areas of Russia bordering Ukraine. During the day, Russians launched a missile strike on the city of Kharkiv, using 3x S-300 missiles. Also, Russian soldiers launched air strikes in the areas of Seredyna-Buda (Sumy oblast), Ohirtseve, and Hatyshche (Kharkiv oblast). Russian forces fired mortars and artillery on the settlements of Seredyna-Buda, Baranivka, Bunyakyne, Stari Vyrky, Atyns’ke, Volfyne, Obody, Yastrubyne, Kindrativka, Myropillya, Krasnopillya, Velyka Pysarivka, Shevchenkove, Oleksandrivka (Sumy oblast), Basove, Sotnyts’kyi Kozachok, Hur’yiv Kozachok, Udy, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Hlyboke, Luk’yantsi, Starytsya, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Vovchans’k, Mykolaivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Zarubynka, Shev’yakivka, Odradne (Kharkiv oblast).
  • Kup’yans’k direction: Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Novomlyns’k, Kut’kivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivs’ke (Luhansk oblast) came under Russian artillery and mortar fire during the day.
  • Lyman direction: during the day, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast). Russians launched air strikes in the vicinities of Nevs’ke (Luhansk oblast) and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). Nevs’ke, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, Tors’ke, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.
  • Bakhmut direction: Russians conducted offensive operations towards Ivanivske, but without success. Russian missile attack on a residential area of the settlement of Komyshuvakha destroyed residential buildings. Also, Russian forces launched air strikes in the vicinities of Toretsk and Bila Hora (Donetsk oblast). The vicinities of settlements of Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Dyliivka, and New York (Donetsk oblast) suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
  • As a result of coordinated actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian army’s irreversible losses on Lyman and Bakhmut directions exceeded 160x people, with about 230x Russian military staff were wounded. Russian losses in weapons and military equipment amounted to 28x units.
  • Avdiivka direction: Russia made an unsuccessful offensive towards the settlements of Avdiivka, Siverne, and Nevel’s’ke. Russian troops launched air strikes in the vicinities Avdiivka (Donetsk oblast). Russian forces fired artillery at the settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Siverne, Pervomais’ke, Karlivka, and Nevel’s’ke (Donetsk oblast).
  • Mar’inka direction: Ukrainian soldiers repelled numerous Russian attacks in the vicinity of the city of Mar’inka, inflicting major casualties on the Russian army. The estimated losses of the Russian soldiers during the day on this direction alone amounted to about 70x killed and more than 100x wounded. Also, 17x units of Russian equipment were destroyed. At the same time, the Russian army carried out air strikes on Mar’inka, fired artillery at the settlements of Hostre, Heorhiivka, Mar’inka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).
  • Shakhtars’ke direction: Russian troops conducted offensive operations towards Novosilka, to no success. Russia launched an air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Velyka Novosilka. Russian soldiers shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka, and Vremivka (Donetsk oblast). At the same time, the Ukrainian troops shot down 1x Russian Ka-52 helicopter on this direction.
  • Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: Russia stays on the defensive. Russian soldiers launched an air strike on Beryslav (Kherson oblast). Russian forces fired artillery at the settlements of Burlats’ke, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Novopil’, Temyrivka (Donetsk oblast), Ol’hivs’ke Poltavka, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Bilohir’ya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky, Stepove, Kam’yans’ke (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Kozats’ke, Mykil’s’ke, Molodizhne, Dniprovs’ke (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

The Ukrainian army’s strikes on Russian equipment

Ukrainian Air Force launched 19x air strikes on the concentrations of troops and as 5x air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian army.

Ukrainian soldiers intercepted 10x reconnaissance UAVs and 6x UAVs of various types.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 2x Russian command posts, 12x concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 1x ammunition depot, 1x anti-aircraft missile system, 12x Russian artillery units at their firing positions, and 4x other important targets.
