Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

The Russian Federation is still conducting an aggressive war.

According to updated information, the Russian army  launched a missile strike on Ukrainian territory within a day, using 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 9 Kh-22 missiles, 2 sea-launched Kalibr missiles, 2 guided S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, and 3 Shahed drones. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 40 Kh-101/X-555 cruise missiles, one Kalibr cruise missile, and three Shahed attack drones. Russian troops directed the Kh-22 missiles towards the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. Unfortunately, there are casualties and wounded civilians as a result of the Russian terrorist attack, including children with moderate to severe physical injuries. Dozens of private residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and over 50 private civilian vehicles have been completely destroyed or damaged.

In total, Russian troops conducted 53 missile and 11 aviation strikes within a day. Additionally, they carried out over 30 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launch systems.

The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, with over 10 armed clashes occurring within a day.

  • The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissya directions remains unchanged.
  • Siversk and Slobozhansk directions: the Russian army carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas in Halahanivka, Chernihiv Oblast; Novovasylivka, Chuykivka, Fotovysh, Sumy Oblast; as well as Okip, Chervona Zorya, Veteryarne, Pylna, Kozacha Lopan, Ohirtseve, Hatysche, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • Kupiansk direction: Russian soldiers conducted offensive actions towards Berestove but were unsuccessful. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast.
  • Lyman direction: the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Veselyi and conducted airstrikes in the area of Bilohorivka, Luhansk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • Bakhmut direction: Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Ivanivskyi area. The areas of Vasuikivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, and New York in Donetsk Oblast were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • Avdiivka direction: the Russian army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Severne. It also conducted artillery shelling of populated areas in Novooleksandrivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodyane, Umanske, Vesele, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.
  • Marinka direction: Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Marinka. At the same time, they carried out artillery shelling of populated areas in Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Georgiivka, Kurakhove, and Oleksiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • Shakhtarsk direction: the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Makarivka in Donetsk Oblast. It also shelled populated areas in Katerinivka, Bohoyavlenska, Novomykhailivka, Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Novoukrainka in Donetsk Oblast.
  • Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: the Russian army continues defensive actions, focusing its main efforts on preventing the advancement of Ukrainian military. It conducted airstrikes in the areas of Orikhiv, Novodanilivka, and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Russian troops also carried out artillery shelling of approximately 40 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, Hulyaipilske, Charyvne, Bilohirya, Orikhiv, Prymorske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Dudchany, Berislav, Vesele, Kozatske, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Bilozirka, Dniprovske, and Kizomys in Kherson Oblast.

The occupational army of the Russian Federation continues to plunder the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. For instance, in the country house cooperative between the settlements of Luhivka and Fabrychne, Russian military personnel are systematically looting property and personal belongings from the houses of residents.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 18 strikes on Russian personnel concentration areas during the day and destroyed 1 Russian air defense missile system.

The missile and artillery units during the day targeted 1 Strela air defense missile system, 3 personnel and military equipment concentration areas, 12 artillery pieces in firing positions, and 2 electronic warfare stations of the Russian army.
