Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, Russian troops launched a missile and air strike on Ukraine, using 3 air-launched ballistic missiles X-47 Kinjal, 3 cruise missiles X-22, and 4 drones Shahed-136/131. Three kamikaze drones were destroyed by the air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force.

Furthermore, the Russian army carried out 44 airstrikes and conducted approximately 30 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian areas. Unfortunately, besides the destroyed infrastructure, civilians have also been affected.

The probability of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. Over the course of the day, there have been more than 20 combat clashes.

List of the Russian Federation’s attacks on the Ukrainian territory

  • Volyn and Polissya directions: the operational situation remains unchanged.
  • Siversk and Slobozhansk directions: the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Ogyrtseve and Pletenivka in the Kharkiv region. It also carried out mortar and artillery shelling on the settlements of Novovasylivka, Stepne, Vorozhba, Kondrativka, Andriivka, Pysarivka, Nova Sich, Slavhorod in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Pletenivka, Tykhe, Varvarivka, Budarky, Chuhunivka, Ambarne in the Kharkiv region.
  • Kupiansk direction: Russian troops launched unsuccessful offensive actions towards Synkivka and conducted an airstrike in the area of Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling targeted Odradne, Kolodyazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
  • Lyman direction: the Russian army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Nevske in the Luhansk region and Ivanivka, Torsk, Biloheorivka, Dybrova, and Spirne in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Dybrova, Biloheorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torsk, Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.
  • Bakhmut direction: Russian soldiers conducted airstrikes in the areas of Bohdanivka, Bila Hora, and Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. The districts of the settlements of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Pivdenne, and New York in the Donetsk region were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • Avdiivka direction: Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Severne and Avdiivka. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Nevelske. The Russian army also conducted artillery shelling in the areas of Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
  • Marinka direction: Russian troops conducted offensive actions towards Marinka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region but had no success. They carried out an airstrike in the area of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. At the same time, they conducted artillery shelling on the settlements of Maksymilianivka, Mariupol, Heorhiivka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region.
  • Shakhtarsk direction: the Russian army  conducted airstrikes near Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne. It also shelled the settlements of Paraskeviivka, Novomykhailivka, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
  • Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: the Russian army continues to carry out defensive actions and concentrates its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian forces. It attempted to regain lost positions in the area of Makarivka in the Donetsk region. It conducted airstrikes in the areas of Storozheve and Makarivka. Russian soldiers also conducted artillery shelling on the settlements of Novoocheretuvate, Makarivka, Storozheve, Zelene Pole, and Temirivka in the Donetsk region; Levadne, Chervone, Huliaypole, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Piatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Ivanivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Kherson, and Dniprovsky in the Kherson region.

As a result of the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, the sanitary and epidemiological situation has sharply deteriorated in a number of settlements in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. Specifically, due to the lack of access for the civilian population to adequate medical care and quality water, outbreaks of viral hepatitis A have been reported in households, and there is also a threat of the spread of other viral diseases. In turn, Russian toops do not acknowledge the increase in the number of cases and, on the contrary, try to conceal it. No measures are being taken to stabilize the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region.

During the day, the Air Force of Ukraine conducted 7 strikes on Russian personnel concentration areas and 4 strikes on Russian air defense missile systems.

The units of the missile forces and artillery, throughout the day, targeted Russian command post, 2 areas of personnel and military equipment concentration, 2 ammunition depots, 1 fuel and lubricant depot, 23 artillery units in firing positions, 2 electronic warfare assets, and 2 Russian communication nodes.
