Russian army’s attacks on civilian infrastructure

Last night, Russian troops launched another missile and aerial attack on Ukraine, using 6 air-launched Kh-22 cruise missiles, 4 sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles, and 10 Iranian strike drones of the Shahed-131/136 type. In total, within 24 hours, the Russian army carried out 37 aerial strikes and also conducted 32 shelling operations with multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas. The probability of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the directions of Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka, where battles are ongoing. Within the day, 39 combat clashes took place.

  • Volyn and Polissia directions: the operational situation remains unchanged without significant changes. There are no signs of the formation of Russian groupings. Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, and preparations for individual Russian units are ongoing at its training grounds.
  • Siversk and Slobozhansk directions: the Russian army conducted aerial strikes on populated areas in Horky, Chernihiv Oblast, and Budarky and Vesele, Kharkiv Oblast, within the day. It also carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the populated areas of Novovasylivka, Stara Huta, Nova Huta, Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Popivka, Atyne, Bilopillia, Shpyl, Pavlivka, Katerinivka, Obody, Kyndrativka, Myropillia in the Sumy Oblast; Karpovychi, Leonivka in the Chernihiv Oblast, as well as Odnorobivka, Ivashky, Hoptivka, Vysoka Yaruga, Mali Prokhody, Starycia, Krasne, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Vilkhuvatka, and Zemlianky in the Kharkiv Oblast.
  • Kupiansk direction: Russian troops conducted an aerial strike in the area of Kyslivka, Kharkiv Oblast. Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Berestove, Lyman Pershyi, Masyutivka in the Kharkiv Oblast, and Novoselivske in the Luhansk Oblast were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
  • Lyman direction: Russian soldiers carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Vesele within the day. They conducted an aerial strike near Ivanivka, Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected Kyslivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk Oblast, and Yamolivka, Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, and Serebrianka in the Donetsk Oblast.
  • Bakhmut direction: the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Yahidne and Berkhivka within the day. It conducted aerial strikes near Spirne, Rozdolivka, Levadnoh, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Bila Hora in the Donetsk Oblast. The areas of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Druzhba, Toretsk, Oleksandropil, Sukha Balka, New York, Troitske, and Pivdenne in Donbas were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • Avdiivka direction: Russian troops conducted offensive actions towards Avdiivka but was unsuccessful. They conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Novobakhmutivka. Artillery shelling affected the areas of Vesele, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Umanske, Semenivka, Vodianie, Severne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Novokalynove, and Nevelske in the Donetsk Oblast.
  • Marinka direction: Ukrainian military repelled all Russian attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. At the same time, the Russian army conducted artillery shelling in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Bahatyr, Hostre, Horlivka, Netaylove, Marinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk Oblast.
  • Shakhtarsk direction: Russian troops carried out an aerial strike in the area of Zolota Nyva. They conducted shelling of populated areas including Vodyane, Kurakhove, Maksymivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vilne Pole, and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk Oblast.
  • Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions: the Russian army continues to conduct defensive actions. It carried out artillery shelling of populated areas such as Zelene Pole, Novopil, Neskuhne, Novyi Komar, Makarivka in the Donetsk Oblast; Novodarivka, Levadne, Chervone, Huliaypole, Olhivske, Malynivka, Zaliznychne, Yehorivka, Huliaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Omelnyk, Stepove, Orikhiv, Novodanilivka, Novoandriyivka, Novoivanivka, Stepove, Zherebyanky, Pyatyhatky, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Osokorivka, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Vesele, Olhivka, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Novosilka, Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Ponyativka, Novotyahynka, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Kherson, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Kizomys in the Kherson Oblast, and Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 12 strikes on Russian personnel concentration areas. Rocket forces and artillery units targeted 11 areas of Russian troops’ concentrations, 1 anti-aircraft missile system, and 3 Russian electronic warfare stations.
